Code of Conduct                                     Join our Mentorship program

 

Program Requirements and Graduation Criteria:

– Mentees are expected to meet with their mentors for a minimum of two hours per month.

– Mentees should initiate the first meeting and actively schedule subsequent meetings with their mentors.

– Mentees should drive the mentoring relationship by setting meeting agendas and clearly defining areas of focus.

– Completion of feedback surveys and end-of-program survey by specified deadlines is mandatory.

– Mentees must submit SMART goals, which are specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound, to be worked on with their mentors.

– Mentees should engage in a Progression and Revision exercise to reflect on their SMART goals.

– Submission of a reflection on the SMART goals is required by the end of the Mentoring Program.

– Timely responses to communication from the Mentoring Team are expected.

– Adherence to the Program Code of Conduct is mandatory.

– Optional: Mentees can submit meeting notes to document discussions and agreed-upon tasks.

Mentors are expected to:

– Meet with their mentees for a minimum of two hours per month.

– Provide feedback on their mentees’ SMART goals and reflection on SMART goals by the end of the Mentoring Program.

– Respond promptly to communication from the Mentoring Team.

– Adhere to the Program Code of Conduct.

– Optional: Provide feedback on their mentees’ Progression and Revision exercise.

– Optional: Submit meeting notes to document discussions and agreed-upon tasks.

Graduation and Support:

– Participants fulfilling the program requirements will graduate and receive a graduation certificate.

– The Mentoring Team is available to provide assistance for effective and beneficial mentoring relationships.

– Participants unable to meet the requirements will be contacted by the Mentoring Team for support. If issues persist, participants may be unmatched and withdrawn from the program.

Support and Issue Resolution:

– Participants can contact the Mentoring Team via email (mentoring@ampsonline.org) for assistance.

– The Mentoring Team will address issues reported through feedback, actively seeking resolution and providing suggestions.

– Participants can flag problems by sending a message to the Mentoring Team, who will engage in written communication or phone calls if necessary.

– The Mentoring Team will set deadlines for responses and follow up to ensure resolution.

– The Mentoring Team will offer resources, facilitate reconnection, provide advice and guidance, and assist with conflict resolution on a case-by-case basis.

Withdrawal from the Program:

– Participants may be withdrawn from the program if they do not fulfill the requirements or encounter specific situations/criteria that warrant withdrawal.
